Legal basis for data processing

Users' personal data are processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), (hereinafter: GDPR). The basis for data processing are the following records:

– Article 6(1)(a) b GDPR, i.e. necessity to perform the contract to which the data subject is a party,
– art. 6 section 1 letter c GDPR, i.e. the necessity to fulfill the legal obligation related to maintaining documentation required by tax law provisions,
– art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR, i.e. necessity to pursue the legally justified interest of the company in pursuing claims related to its business activities.

For the purposes of conducting marketing and promotional campaigns, the legal basis for the processing of the user's personal data will be the consent of the interested party, provided that it is granted:

Scope, purpose and period of personal data processed

In order to implement the sales contract and the payment process, Homeprint collects personal data including name, surname, shipping address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

Contact details are provided by users by completing the order form on the store's website, placing an order by e-mail or by phone. Providing data is voluntary, but failure to provide it results in the inability to accept and process the order.

Homeprint collects and processes personal data for the purposes of:

– implementation of legal provisions, performance of contracts, provision of services electronically
– conducting commercial transactions
– accepting and handling orders, including informing about the order status and issuing purchase documents
– receiving and handling complaints
– conducting analyzes and statistics
– possible determination and pursuit of claims or defense against them
– conducting possible promotional and marketing campaigns

These data are fully protected against access by unauthorized persons and cannot be used for purposes other than those specified above. The data is not made available to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes unrelated to the activities of the homeprint store. The data is also not transferred to third countries.

Users' personal data will be processed for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of processing, but no longer than 5 years. After this time, personal data will be deleted unless their processing is necessary based on another legal basis. Both personal data and IP addresses are visible in the order confirmation sent electronically only to the user and the administrator. This is to detect possible irregularities in the provided data.

Entrusting data processing to other entities

Users' personal data may be entrusted for processing - the recipients of personal data are: employees handling orders, an accounting company operating Homeprint, a hosting provider for the store, payment processing companies and postal and courier companies carrying out shipments. Personal data collected by Homprint may also be made available to relevant state authorities upon their request pursuant to relevant legal provisions or to other persons and entities in cases provided for by law.

Security of the acquired data

Homeprint and the entities to which Homeprint entrusts the processing of Customers' personal data ensure an appropriate level of security and confidentiality of personal data processing by using appropriate technical and organizational measures, in particular securing data against disclosure to unauthorized persons, removal by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of applicable regulations and change, loss, damage or destruction.

Data obtained automatically

The administrator also processes anonymized operational data. Each time you visit the homeprint.pl store website, data related to your visit is automatically obtained, including: IP address, domain name, operating system type, etc. Data contained in cookie text files is also automatically obtained, identifying users' browsers during using the store. This data is aggregated and anonymous, i.e. it does not contain features identifying people visiting the store's website. Cookies allow you to personalize offers. The user has the right to block the installation of such cookies at any time or delete previous ones using appropriate web browser tools. This data may also be used in the process of diagnosing problems related to server operation, security analysis and in managing the website www.homeprint.pl. In addition, they may be used by the administrator for analytical, technical and statistical purposes and to generally improve the functioning of the store.

User rights regarding personal data
